Tamás Járvás has been working in technical fields for more than 25 years. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering and later a postgraduate degree in Quality Management in the late 1990s. In 1999, he joined the Bosch Group. First, he worked in Kecskemét at the Bosch Car Multimedia division as IT Manager. During this time, he obtained degrees also in Economics and later an MBA from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. From 2009, he continued his career at the Bosch Power Tools plant in Miskolc, first as Project Manager, then as Head of Software Development, and since 2016, he has held the position of Technical and Operations Director. As a dedicated advocate of Industry 4.0, he has participated in the implementation of numerous Industry 4.0 projects. He played an active role in launching the Industry 4.0 Process Engineer specialisation at the University of Miskolc. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Production, Logistics and Cyberphysical Pilot Systems working group of the Industry 4.0 National Technology Platform Association, and from 2025 on, he serves as a board member of the I4.0 NTPA. He is married and the father of one son.
